Is anyone up for buying the CTEK XS3600 battery charger and conditioner. This is the one that Porsche provides under their brand name. They get fantastic reviews.
They retail at £54.99, but if we get a few of us together we can get it for about £44 plus delivery. here's some info: ctek xs3600 Any takers? |

I've been using a similar device called the CSI Airflow for years, originally bought from Autofarm. It works a treat but is still going strong so I don't need a new one!

Why do you need one?
I fired the old girl up last sunday after nearly 4 weeks of all that horrible weather, she fired up first spin. If you need one of these I would suggest your battery is a bit suspect. Hu.

Quote: hukent at Jan 27, 2010 6:03:03 pm Funnily enough I did have a problem. See here I solved that, and bought a new battery while I was at it. Seems like after a few weeks it does get low though. My engine also takes a bit more power to crank because of high compression and back pressure. |

I would still check the usual culprits, make sure the earths are clean, and vaseline the battery terminals, and earth points.
The biggest drain on a battery is usually the starter lead........... make sure it's secured properly, and the joints are sound. Hu.
