As per title, how do the gauges come out on an SC? I had a quick look but couldn't see anything obvious.

Thanks all!

Prise them out Gently, they are retained by a big rubber ring.
Once you get the first one out you can get at the others easily.

As per Hu - they are just held in with a ribbed rubber ring.  The ruibber can dry out and make it a little hard to prise out, but they will come out.  There are no screws at all.  If all else fails reach from the bonnet area and push them through.

I took mine out and found them real tight, only when working under the bonnet much later found I could get at the back of them, I would agree with Pete if they are tight a bit of a push from behind will really help. Also when re fitting them a bit of silicon polish on the rubber helps them fit them fit the gauge and to sit in the dash.
