well the car hadn't moved for yonks as i was stripping lots of parts from her ongoing project!! i replaced the gear box earth strap 
then few days later i had to start her no go! i thought have i not done somthing right any how  called in auto sparky to diagnose starter motor!! 
i didnt have a bentleys hand book at the time and DIDN'T know to slightly drop the gear box!! about 4 hours it took me and a friend to do it!  to which he said you either get a smaller started or get someone else to help!!!
i found a company called cambridge motor sports the do a starter edge starter hi torque  high power
still a little fiddley to fit to a g50 box as its ment really for 915s but i was assured that it works just aswell
boy are they right WOW sound bloody fantastic starting up.
plus wait for it this is the best bit it 4 kgs lighter!!! yeh
