Did you have any joy with fabbing up one of these Pete? I took my crappy cardboard one off the other night to replace the washer valves and its almost falling in half where moisture has softened the card over time. I am still amazed that Porsche used such a flimsy cheap part, especially one susceptable to damp...under the washer nozzles/bonnet edges
.
The ally plate looks great in that pic though i guess you only see the benefit if you run a naked boot space..ie no carpet. Sprightly 1134kg and falling. |

I havent done it it yet, but its definitely on the list of things to do!
I agree the OEM part is an absolute shambles. Not what you'd normally associate with Porsche design. |

If I get enough interest, I could knock some up out of Plastic.
Kevlar pattern, or pretty much any colour you want. Hu. |

Wheel arch liners sound like a good project, I have been thinking of making a template since getting the car. now we have the techno member I might give it go when the weather picks up.

I found some pics of some liners Lokaris. Not sure how good they are or how they fix on though....

They look like they are home made from standard galvanised sheeting with rubber on the outer edges, they have been fastened on with self drilling roof sheeting srew fasteners, which have been srewed into the underbody.
