A member of P101tv.com uploaded a video recently which has proved to be the most popular video on the website by far. I a few short weeks it has been played 2,132 times.. Jacques place seems to be the ultimate scrap yeard for all things Porsche. Probably most Porsche enthusiasts dream place to browse away the hours while looking for that all illusive part that you’ve been looking for all eternity.
I guess you could look at Jaqcues place in one of two ways. You either think of it as the best place ever – an Aladin’s cave of priceless patina and somewhere you enjoy being. Or, you could see this collection of Porsche’s just sitting alone, deteriorating like a final resting place before moving on to that Porsche graveyard in the sky.
For me, I like to think of it more in the former – a place where Porsche enthusiasts can find what they are looking for to keep their own Porsche running as intended. These cars are donors for their fellow brothers and sisters. But, I hope, that every once and a while someone comes along and rescues one of these Porsches with the aim of restoring them to their former glory. Wouldn’t that be nice!
